Challenge
Pick one NFL team to win in week #1. If they lose, tie or the game isn't played that week, you're out. If they win, you advance to pick a new team in week #2.
Goal
Be the last competitor standing as your opponents fall one by one. You can use each team only once, so plan your picks wisely.

NOTE: All entries are deleted each year. You will need to Sign Up for each entry that you want for this year. There is a maximum of three entries per person.
NFL Schedule Changes
For the purposes of this pool, a week ends when the next one begins. If your team hasn't won their game by that time your entry will be eliminated.
In the case of a Forfeit, we will eliminate entries that have selected the forfeiting team, and entries that have selected their opponent will advance to the next week.
We will do what we can, but we are not responsible for notifying players of schedule changes.
Tie Breaker
The tie breaker will be picking five additional teams to win in week 18 (you can only pick teams that you have not picked already). The tie breaker will only be used if there is more than one entry left after the regular week 18 picks are calculated. The winner will be the entry that has the regular week 18 pick correct and has the most tie breaker games correct (if there is still a tie, the entries with the most tie breaker picks correct will split the pot). NOTE: If all week 18 entries lose, the tie breaker will be used to determine the winner.
Cost
The one-time entry fee is $10. Tell your friends!!! The more entries, the bigger the pot!

Once we receive your payment, you are considered entered in the pool. No refunds will be given for entries that do not sign up, or ones that sign up and do not make their pick.

Prize
Winner-take-all!!! (The contest administrator gets one free entry). Check out the reigning champion page to see who won last year.
Please read these carefully, and if you have any questions, ask now. These rules are non-negotiable. If you cannot agree to them, then do not enter the pool. Period. It's that simple.
In a case where the NFL stops or amends their schedule, the following rules will apply.
SITUATION #1: The NFL does not complete the regular season
(This means either the season ends before Week 18 with no playoffs, or the league goes into the playoffs without playing all the regular season)
If there are 50 or fewer entries left in the pool, all surviving entries will equally split the prize pot. The winnings will be sent out and the pool is over. Players with multiple entries remaining will receive multiple shares of the pot. (If there are 10 entries left, and Bob has two of them, Bob will receive 20% of the pot)
If there are more than 50 entries left, this year's pool is void. All entries from this year will be rolled over to next year's pool, whether they had been eliminated or not.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of each player to sign up their entries the following year. Failure to sign up before the usual deadline will result in forfeiture of your entry fee. Those fees will be added to the prize pot.
If the following season is cancelled, the entire prize pot will be donated to a charity of our choosing.
SITUATION #2: The NFL alters or delays the regular season, but all 18 weeks are played (even if some teams do not play 17 games)
If the NFL changes the schedule, we will play with the adjusted schedule. In this case we reserve the right to alter pick deadlines and website availability as needed. If the schedule is altered, it is the players responsibility to become aware of these changes and make adjustments to their picks (including picks they have made for future weeks). Remember, to advance, your team must win in a particular week, not necessarily against a particular opponent.
This will apply to any games rescheduled. Whether due to hurricanes, riots, or murder hornets. If the altered schedule does not result in all 18 weeks being played (some teams not playing 17 games does mean that week was not played), "Situation #1" rules will apply.
PLEASE NOTE: Under no circumstance will the pool continue into the NFL Playoffs. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued.
As much as we tried to cover all scenarios, we reserve the right to alter the rules of the pool as necessary. If you cannot accept these rules, please do not play as they are non-negotiable.
Deadline
We must receive your payment by Thursday, September 7th. You must also create a login for each entry before you send payment.
The deadline to pick your team each week is noon (Central Time) Sunday. Please note, if your team plays on Thursday or Saturday, make sure to make your pick before that game starts.
